North American Occupational Health and Safety Week (NAOSH) 🗓
May 6-12, 2018
NAOSH Week is an annual event recognized across Canada, the United States and Mexico. The goal is
to focus the attention of employers, workers, the public in occupational health and safety on the
importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home and in the community. Events
planned for NAOSH Week are sponsored by Canadian Society of Safety Engineers:
Edmonton Conference: May 1, 2018
Calgary Conference: May 8, 20182018 Fall Conference 🗓
The Education Committee has begun planning for this year’s conference and education program. The conference date has been set for October 2 and 3, 2018 in Red Deer. Members interested in presenting a topic or suggesting topics or speakers for the conference or a Spring PD event can contact Melanie McCulloch at melanie.mcculloch@ecsd.net. Please complete the online survey that was emailed with the January Newsletter to submit your ideas. Preliminary program is expected April 2018.
